By study earthquake cycle in this case postseismic step, expected to contribute for looking probability earthquake repeating period and probability postseismic effect toward around area as result 2006 Pangandaran earthquake. This study will be referable for future earthquake potential evaluation. This study use GPS survey for observing GPS points around Pangandaran. On July 23-30, 2006 GPS survey in first time observed 28 monitoring points whereas GPS survey in second time observed 30 monitoring points on August 9-14, 2007. Method that used is differensial method with network mode. From processing result and analysis indicated that points around Pangandaran getting displacement as big as 2-4 cm toward south or in the same direction with coseismic step. text |
