The critical and strategic factor related to accomplishment of the long-term succes of a company is the ability to measure objectively the performance of its employees. The measurement is conducted thorough Performance Appraisal. This has inspired an idea to measure and evaluate the objectivity level of the current Performance Appraisal System applied by Bank XYZ. <br />

<br />
To measure the objectivity level, it is necessary to conduct an audit on Performance Appraisal, consisting of: Appraisal Procedure, Form and Method, The Elements used to conduct appraisal. To gather additional information, Questionnaire is used. The questionnaire must contain the factors that influence objectivity, namely: Appraiser, Elements of Appraisal, Appraisal Method and Appraisee. <br />

From the data gathered, both from the audit and questionnaire, it can be concluded that the Performance Appraisal System applied by Bank XYZ has not showed high level of objectivity. <br />
<br />
<br />
The solution to this problem is to revise the performance appraisal system. Whereas the recommendation given emphasizes mostly on the way to create more objective performance appraisal system. |
