Hybrid Organic Inorganic Materials are a mixture of organic and inorganic materials at a molecular level, their properties being dependent on both organic and inorganic materials. Hybrid film and gel powder SiO2-TiO2-PDMS are included in Organically Modified Silicates (Ormosils) that are new kind of Hybrid Organic Inorganic Materials. In this final project, SiO2-TiO2-PDMS hybrid film was prepared by sol-gel dip coating method, whereas SiO2-TiO2-PDMS gel powder was prepared by sol-gel method. Tetraethoxy silane (TEOS) and titanium isopropoxide Ti(OiPr) were used as a precursors. Molar ratio of SiO2 : TiO2 was 0,07 : 0,03 and % wt of PDMS to TEOS were 5% wt and 10% wt. The variation of % wt of PDMS to TEOS were intended to know the properties of SiO2-TiO2-PDMS hybrid film, whereas the variation of temperature in heat treatment were intended to know the phases were formed. The results of SEM showed the SiO2-TiO2-PDMS hybrid film has a pore structure at 10% wt PDMS to TEOS. The results of XRD in SiO2-TiO2-PDMS hybrid film showed amorphous phase, whereas in SiO2-TiO2-PDMS gel powder showed crystalline phase, such as anatase and rutile. text |
