Identification paddy fields from Radarsat image using backscattering value indicate us that 70% of the area study was paddy fields. The last process is to validated paddy backscatter with land cover map, from this process we get the fitting level between Radarsat image classification and land cover map is 70% because there is some parameters didn't involved in the process of calculating backscattering value.The backscattering coefficient of paddy field compare with the value from NDVI landsat image, and its show that the NDVI value represented the density from paddy in the area. High value of NDVI show that the paddy is domination the field, but the small value of NDVI show that there is amount of water on the paddy field. <br /> text
