Summary: | The development of the operational oceanography in the world is widely growth, both for the commercial and for public. Operational oceanography embraces hindcasting, nowcasting and forecasting of ecology physical parameters from global scale to coastal. Its become important for ocean resources management, such as tides and waves predictions that needed for coastal structure or Oceans tides as one of the nature phenomena that physically periodic, could be approximately predicted. Oceans tides contributions in oceans dynamics is very important to be learned and understand for the scientist and especially for the oceans stakeholders. By that, this thesis try to made an application that can be used by all people to get tidal information on the some area. This application is tidal currents database that can be used to saving and predict the tides, both the tidal currents and elevations. Same application that been made in Indonesia or other countries with its values had gave important suggestion in this tidal database. One example, integration of systems database, analysis and prediction with geographic information systems. Besides that, demand of high resolution data is needed to local regions. |
