ITB is one of Indonesia university that was has a good image in Indonesia. But, become good in own house is not enough to face globalization. University has obligation to be a best in regional, even become the best in world. The other word is become world&#8208;class university. ITB is one of university that has a obligation to be it. To fulfill that obligation, great human resource is needed especially a leader. As a university, one great leader is not enough, every faculties need one leader, and even study program need a great leader to answer the challenging become world class university. In a fact, leader in ITB, in this case dean and head of study program still lack of great criteria like a high collegiality in college environment like happen in other university where was has an effect to tridharma productivity in university.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> That condition evince needs an evaluation to effectiveness of leaders role to support ITB toward world-class university. This evaluation has a bounds that only to academic leader's role compare to role's that was apply by ITB leaders now.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The result from this research is a vision of some leader in faculties and study program is still low. If a leader has not a vision so organization will didn't know where they will go in their daily activity. Although organization has vision, but the leader cannot see another way. High level of collegiality affect to a leader in define problem and give priorities in solving problem. Where in the next effect is lower tridharma quality.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Because of that problem, ITB needs a change to reduce a gap between ITB's leader and world class university. The appropriate ways to change it like good promotion system, and implementation of quality assurance, to change ITB become world class university.
