This final project concerns about lightning current distribution measurement in the conductive parts of building as the effect of lightning strike. The lightning current is modeled by impulse current from impulse generator. Building as the object lightning strikes is modeled by conductive parts. All of the conductive parts are assumed to be perfectly connected. Current measurement use simple method that is by using shunt resistor and oscilloscope. This research is started by making impulse generator that like lightning current characteristic. In other case, inductive load have big effect for the value of impulse impedance. Moreover, return path that used in this research give the effect because its impedance. From this research on building model structure object, we get unmatched result with simulation result. There are conductive parts that not perfectly connected.
