These releasing signals indicate internal defects in materials.<p>This report discusses about research of acoustic emission phenomena as indicators of internal defects in materials or structures. Experiment conducted in the laboratory proves the existence of the acoustic emission phenomena scientifically. Laboratory data proves the existence of acoustic emission phenomena when structure under study experiences deformation or has tendency to defect. Verification of the acoustic emission phenomena can be used further as a monitoring method for internal rock structure defect, such as bridges, cantilever pole building, dam, tunnel, cave, underground nuclear waste, and others. text |
