Description
Summary:Interactive multimedia art is a field that combines the art and technology discipline. This field emphasizes on the interaction between human and computer through natural motions in which those actions will be translated into a multimedia object, whether it's an audio or visual object. On it's application this field can also be used on other fields such as city planning, educations, and advertisement.

The designed system will implement interactive multimedia art as an advertising media. To achieve that, the system will be designed to show a picture of a product's advertisement in which it can be manipulated by using the audiences' movements. These changes will make the picture more interesting, and the audiences' can be more focus to the displayed product.

The system implementation is done using a PIR (Passive Infra Read) sensor to detect movement. The sensor is then connected to the computer through the Arduino board and the results from the sensor's reading will be processed on open source software named Pd (Pure Data). In this software, the results of sensor's detection used to manipulate the picture. There will be a total of 4 sensors that is used on the system and depends on which is the active sensor the form of manipulation on the picture will be different.

The next step is to put the system on the ceiling and connect the computer to a projector that will display a picture on the floor. Every time someone moves on the floor and enters the sensors' range of detection, that movement will be detected and the sensor will gives an input to the board. For the result, the picture on the floor will change. This will produce it's own form of interactivity.
