WPAN 802.15.3a is an application which has a large size of bandwidth to transmit data in a relatively short distance with the objective that any multimedia data transmission periods have to reduce. A simple simulation of this system consist of I-UWB analog transceiver along with its UWB antennas microstrip-based.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> I-UWB system adopts a single full band (almost 3.1 to 10.6 GHz), non carrier gaussian pulse 5th order derivative, and achieves a high data rate of 200Mpulses/s in AWGN channel. Key advantageous feature for UWB sytem include very low power consumption, low costs implementation, simple scheme RF modulation such as BPSK and its signal power mask is set at within the noise floor level of normal wireless technology to avoid interference with existing wireless applications.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Based on simulation result show that the 8dB SNR is achieved at 10-3 BER within AWGN channel for data communication. Due to its analog receiver, this system has a problem with equalizing the received data. Intersymbol interference (ISI) is one of the impairment. However, by reducing its data rate to 50Mpulse/s, the ISI can be minimalized and the SNR-loss problem has a significant repairment in about 10dB SNR is achieved at 10 deg -3 BER. text
