WISE-8 craft can landing on water surface.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Many composite material used for WISE-8 airplane structure with the objrctive that aircraft have light weight compared than another material. Composite material used such as Glass-Epoxy, Swedish Plywood, and Polyurethena Foam. At skin structure used material configuration likes Glass-Epoxy (0,3mm) and Polyurethane Foam (3 mm). The spar structure use ply material Glass-Epoxy and Swedish Plywood.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> This final project shows to understand the influence of modulus alteration, thickness, and sum of glass-epoxy ply for MaxStress & MaxShear in every configuration. Static strength analysis tested to wing structure used finite element method (Software Patran 2005). Properties data of old Glass-Epoxy like reference for properties data of new glass-epoxy.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The analysis result shows that SP5_SPp4.5 configuration have lighter weight wing structure and safe condition.
