The big Cilame's demand is not equal with the Cilame's water inflow (Q cilame's demand > Q cilame's inflow), however in Cipunagara area is getting surplus, and`make the demand get fulfilled with water spill (Q sadawarna's demand < Q sadawarna's inflow). This water spill from the Sadawarna Reservoir will be supplied to Cilame Reservoir. Besides that, the Sadawarna Reservoir and Cilame Reservoir development will overcome the flood in down stream of Cipunagara River Basin.
From the last study in 2007, the Sadawarna's demand is 5.992 m3/second (2029), the minimum condition for the water inflow is 3.93 m3/second and the maximum inflow is 38.280 m3/second. However, the last study in Cilame, that held in 2005, the Cilame's demand is 3.63 m3/second (2030), and the water inflow is 0.580 m3/detik for the minimum and maximum condition is 4.97 m3/second. To fulfill the Cilame's demand, for the mid and long term, the lack of the water will be supplied from the Sadawarna Reservoir. This condition will be maintained with the interbasin operation pattern that has Q 80 % in April, May, June, November, and December.
The development of Sadawarna Reservoir will give benefit to fulfill domestic water demands in 9 district with total amount of 65,231.95 m3/day in 2033, and increase non technical irrigation area for 16,241.00 Ha. Whereas, the development of Cilame Reservoir will give benefit to fulfill domestic water demands in 1 districk with total amount 9,686.47 m3/day in 2033, and increase non technical irrigation area for 13,535.00 Ha.
text
