Therefore the population at Kecamatan Padalarang will increase and it is estimated up to 277.901 people at the end of 20 years design in 2028. To support the developing potentials, a water distribution system is needed to serve water requirement for the society at Kecamatan Padalarang. Now, water requirement has been served by PDAM with 11,55% service percentage. This project will design a water requirement service until 70 % at the end of 20 years planning on 2028. It must be noticed on designing water distribution system, so in the water services lack for water discharge, pipe leakage, lack for pressure, etc will never happen. Water supply consists of 4 major components, which are source of water, transmission system, installation, and distribution system. To get the best water distribution system, many alternatives are proposed. The alternative is chosen based on technical, hydraulic, and economic judgment. Hydraulic analysis is done with EPANET program. Selection alternative is the 3rd alternative which done by comparing some alternative by weighted ranking technique. <br /> <br /> text |
