Summary: | Research and development of geophysical methods has been doing to reach better understanding about geophysical methods, so that this methods can be used for exploration widely and precisely. Even for seismoelectric method which can provide useful, and otherwise unattainable, information about thin layers, permeability and chemical property contrasts. Seismoelectric phenomena occurred when electric field induced by seismic wave propagation or electromagnetic wave radiated also bay seismic wave propagation. In this final assignment, numerical simulation of seismoelectric response is using finite different method with transfer function approach.<p>From this simulation, we will see coseismic response of sesismoelectric phenomena in heterogenic layer medium, in this case sand-clay medium. The testing of numerical algorithm is done before the simulation. With the previous research about seismolectric responses, we can see profile of coseismic response in heterogenic medium. This profile used for examining numerical algorithm in very thin layer case and then homogeny medium with vary properties. After testing, this numerical algorithm is used for simulation where the geometric condition of sand-clay is varied so that we could see whether this coseismic response depends on varied geometric medium or related with other responses. <br />
