The performance will be evaluated by looking the degree of error of that algorithm as a function of Eb/No, number of antenna element, number of bit sample, the distance between antenna element, and angle of separation between signal sources. Beside that the performance of ESPRIT algorithm will also evaluated by using two data signal in different correlation coefficient. All the simulation in this final project was performed in MATLAB 6.5 software. The result from simulation are : the angle of separation between two signal source will give an effect to DOA estimation result. We can detect the error that relatively high from looking at the variance of some estimation. The number of bit sample is not significantly effect to DOA estimation. The result from using 10 sample bit show the equal estimation like we use 100 sample bit. The higher level of Eb/No and also the bigger number of antenna element that we use will give a better estimation result, but still there is the optimum point in this case. From the simulation we know that data with higher coefficient correlation has an attendance to make higher error estimation. text |
