The writer found out there were nine translation strategies used in translating tourism promotion leaflets; they were omission, addition, borrowing, subtraction, synonym, depreciation, expansion, transposition, and culture equivalent. Furthermore, the writer found out there were three language styles used in translating promotion leaflets; they were familiar language, simple vocabulary, and informative.
