Whereas in the parenthetical story, women conflict by presenting truths of events to counter the texts presented in the main story.
This study uses qualitative research that focuses on the description of the meaning of the data and the phenomenon found. Data collection in this research was carried out with literature study, namely by reading, listening and note taking techniques. The data analysis technique was carried out by utilizing Todorov's narratology theory which focuses on viewpoints. This is to reveal the narrator's point of view in becoming an objectification of the main female character. an additional theory will be used by utilizing Jonathan Culler's On Decontruction theory about the concept of reading as a women to formulate the concept of reading the position of the female main character contained in the story insert.
The findings of this study are twofold. First, there are two story structures in the Slindet novel dwilogi. In the main story, the storyteller presents the objectification of the female main character who describes the plot designed by the storyteller in telling events in the novel. In telling the novel novels of Kelir Slindet and Telembuk, the storyteller uses a third person perspective by presenting the main female character as an object in the novel. In the novel's dwilogi, the narrator repeatedly depicts the female main character as a weak group. Second, in the insertion of the story, there appears the resistance presented by the main female character against the patriarchal production texts framed at the main story. In this analysis, there are 5 resistance presented by the main female character, including safitri resistance to the riddle night fucker, safitri resistance to the dramatization of a miscarriage by the narrator, Safitri and the narrator's debate, the storyteller fiction only to satisfy fictional readers, and the rejection of narrator's fiction to Safitri. . |
