Summary:Burnout is an emotional condition when someone felt mentally tired and bored, as a result of an increased workload. Nurse's burnout may result in a decrease in the health services quality. Burnout is caused by individual factors as well as the worker's conditions and workload. Stress that occurs continuously and cannot be adopted by the workers had the potential to cause burnout conditions. This study aims to analyze the influence of individual factors and job stress on nurse’s burnout. This research is descriptive, quantitative research, using a cross-sectional design, and involving 103 nurses in Malang Islamic Hospital. This study shows that most nurses were 31-40 years old, there were more female nurses, more married nurses, and the majority of nurses have worked since 11-15 years ago. All nurse's religiosity level is at a high level, and almost all nurses have a high level of self-efficacy. Nurse's personality types are divided into 30% sanguine, 16.5% choleric, 27% melancholy, and 26% phlegmatic. Nurses who experienced moderate work stress were 82.52% of the population. While nurses who experienced moderate and high burnouts were 86.41% and 13.59% perspectively. This study concludes that the nurses who tend to experience high levels of burnout are 26-30 years old, female, unmarried, had less than one year of working experience, had a high level of self-efficacy, had a sanguine personality, and had a moderate level of work stress. Suggestions given are to consider the individual factors and measure the job stress level to identify and reduce the potential for burnout among nurses.
