Summary: | This research was aimed to determine the profile resistant of S. aureus bacteria collected from raw milk Ettawa crossbreed goat at diary farms in Bangelan, Malang, East Java against tetracyclin, gentamycin, cefoxitin, erythromycin, and cloramfenicol. About 64 from 100 samples were isolated on Mannitol Salt Agar (MSA) media. Gram staining results 64 samples were tested using gram staining (Gram +), 50 samples positive on catalase test, and 26 samples showed positive on coagulase test. The resistance test was done by using diffusion disc Kirby-Bauer method. The results were taken by measuring inhibition zone diameter and interpreted by referring to Clinical and Labaratory Standards Institute (CLSI 2020). The resistance test result, showed about 4 samples (15%) resistance on antibiotic cloramfenicol, 5 samples (19%) resistance on antibiotic tetracyclin, and 14 samples (54%) resistance on antibiotic erythromycin. Gentamicin and cefoxitin antibiotics (100%) are sensitive on isolated S. aureus. About 1 sample Multiple Drug Resistance (MDR) on antibiotic tetracyclin, erythromycin, and cloramfenicol. |
