The contract with payment transactions using foreign currency in the Republic of Indonesia is a contract pertaining to the validity of the contract in term of Article 1320 BW fourth. Laws that require the use of Rupiah is Act no . 7 Year 2011 About Currency approach to research using statute aproach and conceptual approch. Obtained a conclusion that first contracts with payment transaction using foreign currency is a contract that does not qualify the validity of the contract due to conflict with Article 21 Paragraph (1) of the Act Currencies.
