The FNAC smears of follicular adenoma and follicular carcinoma have the same appearrence such as hypercellularity, present of microfollicle structure and follicular pattern with sy ncytium . It is very difficult to differentiate follicular adenoma and follicular carcinoma using the morphological cellular arrangement approach.
