Summary:Family support was an effort that given by family to other members of the family, both of morality or materiality to motivated some activities.Toileting was something that had relation with elimination needs. Although its looks simple, but this not easy skill for children with autism. Family support had big effect because the disability of children with autism and which much time where them be is in home environment with their parents and family. This study was identified the relationship between family support with independent of toileting children with autism. Design used in this study was cross sectional design. Respondents were family of children with autism at SKK Bangun Bangsa Surabaya. Sample consisted of 16 respondents, enrolled using purposive sampling method. The independent variables were family support. The dependent variables were independent of toileting children with autism. Data were collected using modified questionnaire and observation checklist form. Analyzed using spearmen rho correlation test with level of significance of 0,05. Result showed family support had strong correlation with independent of toileting children with autism with significance p=0,003 and r=0,694. It can conclude that better family support which given to the children with autism can increase the independent of toileting children with autism. Recommendation for the parents is to increase family support both in informational and esteem form which given to their child.
