The world of education has also been greatly affected. Students are forced to study from home for extended periods of time and in increased uncertainty. Various problems arise, ranging from the atmosphere at home to the child's mental self. Broadly speaking, the problems arising from the Covid-19 pandemic: 1) have been reported in the mass media in the form of various difficulties in doing assignments during the study from home, both problems with an internet connection, absence of direct companions, unsupportive home atmosphere, and online workload; and 2) possible long-term problems that have been reported in various studies related to the long-term impact of the pandemic, namely, psychiatric disorders (i.e., stress and trauma). This research discusses student writing that reveals problems in the form of creative writing which is the result of community service activities by the Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Airlangga in 2020.
