Summary:Collaps is a condition of the absence of air in alveoli. Lung collaps result from the presence of air or blood in the cavity. Modified ballon blowing respiratory exercise is intended to improve lung ventilation,increase vital capacity and preven atelectasis. The obyective of the study was effect of modified ballon blowing respiratory on lung compliace in pneumothorax and haemathorax. This study used quasy experimental design. Population comprised pneumothorax and haemathoraks patien. Sample consisted of 10 persons who met the inclusion criteria. Samples were divided into control and treatmen group. The independent variabel was modified ballon blowing respiration exercise and the depndent variable was lung compliance by observing thorax potho, repiratory rate and vital capacity. Data were analyzed using t test, Mc.Nemar and chi square test. Results of analisys using chi-square test in thoraks potho revealed p: 0,527 and analisys Mc.Nemar in thoraks fotho pre pos data revaled p: 0,063. Data analysis on in control group, while using paired t test revealed 0,001 in treatment group and 0,001 in control group, while using paired and independet t test the value was p: 0,007. Data analysis on vital capacity using paired t test revaled 0,018 in treatment group and 0,020 in control group,while using independent t test the value was p:0,026. It was proved that modified ballon blowing respiratory execise is effective to assits lung compliance, that the exercise can as a model for breathing exercise for pneumothorax and haemathorax patiens. The research futher art developing to measurement efective breathing execise modification ballon blowing on the lung volume compaire air way pressure.
