Menopause is the cessation of the menstrual cycle which is a biological event. menopause occurred in women aged 45 to 50 years of age. State of menopause can cause anxiety in women, but the response of each woman in the face depending on the type of anxiety that affects type personality. Factor reaction to anxiety, one of which is the personality of a person's personality types introvert and extrovert. Introvert personality Women who has worries, feeling inadequate, inferior and incapable of facing problems. Support the increased feeling of anxiety. Extrovert woman who was not among the easily offended, do not be disturbed if there are people who discuss about the menopause, but sometimes he feels there is a change that causes anxiety. The survey methods used are cross sectional. The population with used is a women with menopause in Podorejo Village, Sumbergempol Tulungagung. The sample was recruited using purposive sampling. Consisting of go respondents, taken according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were collected by using structured quesionare and they were analysed by using Spearmen Rho with significance level p>0,05. Result showed that relation with anxiety and ekstrovert personality type have significance value p=0,275, and the relationship between personality typesintrovert with anxiety showed a significant value ofp= 0.000. Every person has a different personality, so no one will give the same reaction, although it seems as though they would react the same way. The personality type and anxiety have a strong relationship. In women who have the most extroverted personality anxiety was, and women who mostly introverted personality experiencing moderate or severe anxiety. Women with a more introverted personality types adjust to the social environment more conducive to open and appropriate in order to reduce the anxiety they experienced.
