Summary:Enterobiasis vermicularis disease is one disease that often occurs in children. This disease can lead to impaired growth and development in children. Health education with booklet method is one way that can be done to improve the child's knowledge about the disease so that can reduce the risk of incidence of the disease in children, but the influence of the use of booklet method in health education to enhance disease prevention behavior of worms is still not known. Purpose of this study was to identify the influence of health education about preventing enterobiasis vermicularis disease with booklet method in enterobiasis vermicularis disease prevention disease in children. Design used in this study wass pre experimental design. the population 5th graduate students in Kenjeran elementary school 248th subdistrict Bulak, Surabaya. Total sample were 11 respondent, total according to total sampling. Data were collected using structure questionnaire. Data were analyzed using wilcoxon signed test with level of significance α<0,05 Result showed that there were significant influence of health education with booklet in increase childrens’s knowledge (p=0,03) and behavior (p=0,06)about enterobiasis vermicularis. Further researche should have analyses more detail about enterobiasis vermicularis disease in children using validated questionaire.
