This study aimed to cxplain tbc elfect of Islamic caring-bascd family rcsiliencc training on thc incrcasing of farnily rcsilicncc in disastcr prcparcdncss in vulnerablc familics. Mcthod: The rescarch dcsign was a non-randomizcd pr€test and post tcst kontrol group. Thc subjects wcrc wlnerabtc farnily which allocated by 20 in the intervention group and 20 in thc conEol group. The sampling was two stagc simple raldom sampling The intcrvention was Islamic caring-bascd farnily resilience training Thc variable measured werc family rcsiliencc, conisol, HSP 70, coping and dissster preparedness. Comparativc statislical analysis uscd were Mann Whitncy U t st, Paired T tesl, and Indepcndcnt T tcst. R6ultr: The rcsults showcd that FRCI raining sigtilicantly affected thc family resilicncg (hcatmcot group p = 0.00O (c S 0.05) and thc control group p = 0.484 (a S 0.05)), coping (rcaunent gmuP p = 0.007 (c < 0.05) and thc control group p = 0.014 (a S 0.05)), cortisol (rcannent group n p = 0.007 (c -< 0.05) urd thc conuol group p = 0.322 (c < 0.05)), and disaser prcparedness (treatnent group p = 0.001 (a s 0.05) and the conrol group p = 0.354 (a S 0.05)). Only the HSP 70 variablc did not allccted signilicantly. While the kontrol group did not show a sigrificant clfect on all variablcs. Comparison of thc average difference bctween post and pre obtaincd a significant effect on all variables. Conclusionl To bc conctuded, vulnerablc families who received Islamic caring-bascd family rcsiliencc raining cxpcrienced an increasc in fanily resiliencc, increascd coping, decreased cortisot, decrcased HSP 70, and irrcrcasc{ disastcr preparcdness.
