Summary:The aims of this study was to determine the antibacterial activity of noni fruit extract against Staphylococcus aureus. Benefits of this study were inform to the public about using noni fruit extract as an antibacterial against Staphylococcus aureus. The noni fruit were obtained from market and extracted by maceration method. Kirby Bauer diffusion method was used for sensitivity test of the bacteria. The noni fruit extract were used with 3 replications, all the concentration of noni fruit extract were 10% (Pl), 20% (P2), 30% (P3), 40% (P4), 50% (P5), 60% (P6), 70% (P7), 80% (P8), 90% (P9), and 100% (PIO) and to determine the antibacterial activity was used dilution method for determining the grade Minimal inhibitory Concentration (MIC) and Minimal Bactericidal Concentration (MBC). The results showed that noni fruit extract has strong antibacterial activity and has a bacteriostatic activity with MIC grade 40%.
