Language has an important role in human activities. Language, as a means, can be used to communicate ideas and feeling to other people. A person who speaks two or more languages and has to choose which one to use, they tend to use switching for their own purposes to influence or define the situation as they wish. Acehnese people in Surabaya regional language when they talk to often Acehnese use their speakers. Therefore the writer wants to find out when do Acehnese people use Acehnese language, Indonesian, or Javanese.
