Historically, interjections are used to express feelings or states of mind. It is part of speech that usually has no grammatical connection to the other part of the sentence (Ameka, 1992a). Interjections found not only in our daily communication, but also in television program. This study investigates the interjections as it is used by the three presenters of television series Top Gear season 21 episode 6 and 7.Due to the big amount of interjections that occur during the show, it is important to see the meaning of interjection and how they are used in context. The main aims of this research are to identify various kinds of interjections and to find out the function of interjection itself.
