This experiment was conducted to show the evidence of horizontal transfer resistance by antibiotics sensitivity test using beta-lactam between Staphylococcus spp. from wounded dog. Specimens were collected in Surabaya and grown in MSA. These specimens have to contain 2 kind of Staphylococcus, one that fermented manitol and one that did not. Preparation of pure culture were confirmed by MSA, catalase and coagulase test. Both isolates were tested by betalactam antibiotic using disk diffusion method by kirby-bauer. The result showed that transfer of methicillin resistance is suspected to be present in one of the specimen. This result indicated that there is risk of antibiotics transfer resistance in dog.
