Summary: | Dengue Haemorragic Fever (DHF) is kind of infection disease with high prevalence that happens in Indonesia and increase number of mortality. In this disease, happened the degradation of blood thrombocyte (thrombocytopenia) and it tend to related to serious condition of disease. The objective of this study was to know the effect of extracts of child pick a back (Phyllanthus niruri L.) to increase blood thrombocyte in mice with thrombocytopenia. This study used true experimental design. Total sampel was 20 mice and divided into 4 groups. Normal control group, thrombocytopenia control group, and the other groups were treated thrombocytopenia and given extracts of child pick a back (Phyllanthus niruri L.) with the different dose, 0.15 mg/gram weight every day and 0.3 mg/gram weight every day. To make thrombocytopenia condition, injection aniline to mice with single dose 0.056 ml/kg weight intraperitoneal. The independent variable were extracts of child pick a back (Phyllanthus niruri L.) and dependent variable were blood thrombocyte. Data were collected by observation at ±24 and ±48 hours after treatment. Data were analyzed by one-way Anova test with degree of significance:::; 0.05. Result showed that degree of significance less than 0.05 (p = 0.000). It mean that amount of blood thrombocyte in every group are be different. It can be concluded that extracts of child pick a back increase blood thrombocyte in mice with thrombocytopenia. It recommended as a kind of fitochemical therapy to increase blood thrombocyte. |
