Description
Summary:The aim of this research was investigated effect of various doses second stage larva of Toxocara cati toward Optical Density (OD) value using indirect ELISA technique. Twenty male mices (Mus musculus) were used in this research and divided into four groups. They were infected by second stage larva of Toxocara cati. The first group (P0) as control was not inoculated, the second (P1) was inoculated with dose 10 eggs/g body weight, the third (P2) was inoculated with dose 17 eggs/g body weight, and fourth (P3) was inoculated with dose 170 eggs/g body weight. Two weeks post infection, antibody from serum was reacted by excretory secretory of second stage larva Toxocara cati in male mice tissues in indirect ELISA technique. The result of indirect ELISA was analyzed using ANAVA test based on Optical Density (OD) and continued using Duncan test. The result of research statistically indicated that there was significant differences (p0,05) between the groups. It can be concluded second stage larvae of Toxocara cati were infected on mice had an antigenic character and different effect towards various doses
