Summary:The objectives of this research were to detect antigenic strain 19 of Bruce/la abortus based on specific protein molecular weight characteristic. Polyclonal antibody was produced by injecting subcutaneous the suspention which consist of Bruce/la abortus S-19. and Complete Freund 's A djuvant to male rabbit. The booster had been dcne for six times with ten days interval by injecting suspention tha contain of Bruce/fa abortus S-19 and Incomplete Freund 's Adjuvant Blood sampling was collected from male rabbit in order to get polyclonal antibody anti Bruce/la abortus S-19, ten days after the last hooster. Fractination of protein antigen base on molecul weight was performed by using SDS PAGE technique. Western Blot techniqt•e was conducted to find out antigenicity of Bruce/la abortus S-19 to antibody polyclonal anti Bruce/la ahortus S-19. The results of this rese&ch showed that there are four hands or protein from Bruce/la abortus S-19 which were recognized antibody with molecul weight of 64,2 kDa, 23,9 kDa, 21,2 kDa, and 19,0 kDa.
