Summary: | Introduction: Postpartum self:ejjicacy is the belief and confidence in the treatment of postpartum mothers and newborns themselves. Is still obtained postpartum mothers who use the services of people doing newborns care. Mother was afraid to care for her baby and not have self efficacy in treating infants. The purpose of this study was 10 analyze the injluence of education supportive of postpartum postpartum self-efficacy in peiforming self-care and newborn at PHC Skidoo district. Sidoarjo. Methods: This study used a design of experiments quasy types of noneqUivalent control group design. Its population were primigravida in PHC Sukodono Sidoarjo. The sample were primigravida three trimester who were willing to be respondent in PHC Sukodono Sidoarjo were selected by using consecutive sampling. Independent Variable was supportive educative and dependent variable was postpartum self efficacy. Dala collection used questionnaires were then analyzed used the Wilcoxon statistical test and Mann Whitney Result and Analysis: Based on the re!1uits obtained by the pair t test statistical test p = 0.000 (a <0.05) which means that there are differences in postpartum self-efficacy in peiforming self-care postpartum and newborns in the group after supportive education. There are dtDerences in postpartum self: efficacy in peiforming self:care postpartum and newborns in the control group with p = 0.000 (a <0.05). Based on the results obtained by independent statistical test p = 0.017 (a <0.05), which means there is effect of education supportive of postpartum self-efficacy in peiforming self-care postpartum and newborns in the treatment group and the control group at the PHC Sukodono Sidoarjo. Discuss alld Conclution: Primiparous mother after getting supportive education increased postpartum self-~fficacy that have the confidence to peiform self-care and newborn independently. |
