Summary: | This study aims to determine 1he levels of Packed Cell Volume (PCV), hemoglobin (Hb), and Eosinophils (Eo) at Peranakan Ongole cattle infected with gastrointestinal wonns in ~onegoro. This study used 40 PO between 2.5 to 3- year-old female who was taken stool and blood were examined. Stool samples examined have been obtained using the method of worm eggs Lucient Brump, sedimentation, and buoyancy. Examined blood samples obtained by the method rnicrohematocrite PCV levels, hemoglobin concentration by cyanrnethernoglobin and Eosinophils to review the preparations are stained with wright stain. Oma were analyzed by t test, regression and oorrela1ion tests. T test used to detect differences between normal levels in cattle infected with PO. Regression and correlation test used to determine the existence of a linear relationship between worm infections of the digestive tract to changes in PCV, Hb and Eosinophils. The analysis revealed a significant difference in the levels of PCV, Hb and Eosinophils between cattle infected and normal blood parameters. PCV and Hb levels decreased while eosinophils increased. Blood parameters that have a linear relationship with worm infections are eosinophils. |
