Description
Summary:Introduction : Hallucinations are disturbances in sensory perception of an object without external stimulation, as well as feeling false sensations in the form of sound, sight, taste, touch or smell. Data from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2018 shows that more than 430 million people suffer from schizophrenia. The prevalence of schizophrenia in Indonesia is 7% per mile or around 1,652,000 people. According to Stuart and Laraia (2005), who stated that 70% of schizophrenic clients experience hallucinations. Nursing interventions for patients with hallucinations are given, namely the use of non-pharmacological interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in the Implementation Strategy (SP). The aim of this research is to determine the effect of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in Implementation Strategies (SP) in two patients with hallucinatory nursing problems. Method: This case study uses a case study design with the research sample being both mental patients with nursing problems of hallucinations and a medical diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia. Result: Before giving Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to a hausinating patient, the patient felt a false sensation in the form of a voice commanding someone to harm another person. The provision of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in the Management Strategy (SP) for patients with acute and chronic hallucinations influences the results of the stages of the Implementation Strategy provided. The final results of the research were obtained during the process of providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in SP 1- 4, it was found that both patients were able to understand and apply the SP taught, the patients became more cooperative and calmer after providing nursing implementation. Conclusion: Providing intervention and implementation using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in implementation strategies (SP) is considered appropriate in the management of hallucinations.
