Description
Summary:Abstract Child development is usually discussed with the terms of groth, because bothof them influence each other. Factors affecting the groth and development baby is born to grow and develop is influenced by several factors, include nutrition, child health status, immunization, simulation, housing, environmental sanitation, socio-economic, and family medicine (Soetjiningsih, 1995). Research is currenly focused on several important factors affecting postnatal growth and development sanitation, so that later can be given intervention. Design of this research according to how statistical analysis using the analytical data with observational data collection method for collecting time by cross sectional data. This study uses cluster sampling, In this study, researchers already have a list of names of parents (mothers) and children aged 1-3 years who dependent variables: family, the child nutrition, immunization, stimulating (stimulation), housing and environmental sanitation. While there are two dependent variables are the growth development of child aged 1-3 years. The data was obtained by univariate analysis, followed by bivariate analysis, for the use of rank spearman and coefficient of contingency. Finally followed by multivariate analysis to determine the dependency relationship between one dependent variable with several independent variables simultancously, using discriminant analysis with significance level (alfa=0,05) with interval confidence = 95%. Resurlt showed that all independent variable affect to growth and development. Then from the results of multivariate analysis showed that the variables have the effect of nutrition or a closely related dominant in influencing the growth and development is influenced by the stimulus and the family.
