| Summary: | Human being have three component intellegence of IQ, EQ, SQ. Leprosy patients have unstable emotional status, and level of stress which different each other to the number of stressor faced at the time of taking care, lack of knowledge and Iifrophobhia in society. Patient's emotional spiritual intellegence have to be optimal because representing highest intellegence of the leprosy sufferer who has just been hospitalized in RS Leprosy of Sumberglagah Mojokerto. This research was done to identify relationship between level of emotional spiritual intellegence (ESQ) with level of anxiety the leprosy sufferer who has just been hospitalized In RS Leprosy of Sumberglagah Mojokerto. Design used in this research was Cross Sectional. Total sample was 31 patients who has just been hospitalized. Data were collected using structured questionnaire and observation. The independent variable was level of emotional spiritual intellegence (ESQ). Dependent variable was level of anxiety (HRSA). Data were then analyzed using Spearman Rank with level of significance of a ≤ 0,05. Result of this research showed that light level of anxiety was 15 people (48,4%), heavy level of anxiety was 13 people (41 ,9%) and medium level of anxiety was (9,7%) and there's no anxiety was (0%). Well-balanced patient's ESQ was 20 people (64,51 %), enough well-balanced patient's ESQ was 8 people (25,8%), less well-balanced·3 people (9,7%). Statistical test of spearman rank with p = 0,00. By optimalizing of patient's emotional spiritual intellegence spiritual can give support which are positive in assisting patient recovering process. It's need to apply nursing process of spiritual aspect and herein after require to be conducted at the other leprosy hospital. |
