Blood pressure in pregnancy could increase because of stress. If the increase occurred in pregnancy age 20 weeks then called preeclampsia. Some studies revealed that relaxation therapy could decrease stress and sleeping with right and left turning could decrease blood pressure in preeclampsia The study aimed to analyze difference of relaxation therapy, sleeping with right and left turning on blood pressure decrease in heavy preeclampsia case in RS Dr M. SOewandi Surabaya. Study design used quasy experiment. The population was patient who experienced preeclampsia and treated in RSUD Dr. M. Soewandhie Surabaya Number of sample was 9 respondents, using Purposive Sampling technique. Independent variables of study were I) relaxation therapy; 2) sleeping with right and left turning; and dependent variable was blood pressure decrease. Data collection used interview and observation methods, data analysis used T-test with significance level p = 0,05. If P value was less than 0,05, Ho accepted and it could be concluded that there was significant relation.Of the result above it concluded that relaxation therapy didn't have effect on systolic blood pressure (P) = 0,22, but in diastolic there was significant value with (P) = 0,04. For sleeping with right and left turning there was no significant result on systolic blood pressure change p = 0,13 and diastolic p = 0,12. Possibly the result was caused by less treatment provided to affect parasympathetic nerve system to stretch in muscle and blood vessel, another possibility was respondents less consistent in using relaxation therapy and sleeping with right- and left turning
