Summary:A research with the objective to explain relation between the level of active compound N-(2,4-dichlorobenzoyl)cephalexin by iodometry with inhibition area diameter to Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 has been done. Determination the level of active compound was done chemically and microbiologically to determine the existence of linear relation between both. Determination the level of active compound chemically was done with iodometric method. While microbiologically was done with cylinder diffusion method using Antibiotika-1 media. Result of data analysis and research use regression test at α = 0,05 showing the existence of significant linear relation between the level of active compound N-(2,4-dichlorobenzoyl)cephalexin by iodometry (variable x) with inhibition area diameter to Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 (variable y). This relation is expressed with the equation Y = 0,177 X + 6,765 (n = 5, r= 0,973, F = 52,996).
