DISKRIMINATOR KEBUGARAN PADA AKTIVITAS FISIK YANG DIPENGARUHI BERAT BADAN (Weight Bearing Activity)

Fitness identical with the measurement of VO2max because VO2max estimates can be used as a reference the status of fitness someone.VO2max measurements are usually performed by physical tests such as running. Part of this test needs some specific tools, methods and a specific protocol. This study aims...

Part of this test needs some specific tools, methods and a specific protocol. This study aims to determine the method that is able to distinguish the individual fitness status without physical testing with an accurate and simple method. The subject is 60 male students of Sport Training Education of the State University of Surabaya (UNESA) from the class of the years 2010 until 2013. The subject of rested for 15 minutes before the test, after the break, the subjects underwent data characterization based on age, weight, height, resting heart rate, blood glucose level, and blood pressure. After the data characterization, the subjects would carry out a 2400-meter running test of Cooper protocol as data standards of fitness status. All data were analyzed for its multivariate correlation, linear regression and discriminan. This research result a fitness formula or D = -9.182 + ( -0.070 x body weight ) + ( 0.205 x resting heart rate). The accuracy of these functions to distinguish individuals in the group are fit and do not fit with the significant value of 98.3% (p = 0.000). Body weight and resting heart rate are used as discriminators to distinguish individual fitness status without physical tests on the weight bearing exercises. 2013 Thesis NonPeerReviewed text en http://repository.unair.ac.id/38435/1/gdlhub-gdl-s2-2013-pramonobay-28899-8.abstr-t.pdf text id http://repository.unair.ac.id/38435/2/gdlhub-gdl-s2-2013-pramonobay-28899-FULLTEXTt.pdf BAYU AGUNG PRAMONO, NIM011145006 (2013) DISKRIMINATOR KEBUGARAN PADA AKTIVITAS FISIK YANG DIPENGARUHI BERAT BADAN (Weight Bearing Activity).
