Self Confidence is needed by everybody in the world, especially for teenagers to face the challanges in their life. The fact that some children are up againt a difficult condition and choice. They have to be apart with their family because of becoming fatherless or motherless children and even becoming neglected children because of economic problem or devorce. Meanwhile the society give them a negative emage or label. Some of teenagers feel embarrassed because they grew up in a orphanage so they are unlikely making friends and easily give up. They are also passive and becoming apathetic children. The teenagers who are living in a social welfare institution for children need a social support from community in order to share ideas and living together in the society. The support can be from anybody, especially from friends, teachers, and social workers. This research uses Cross Secitonal Design and Simple Random Sampling Technique. The amount of the sample is 127 teenagers in a social welfare institution for children and for analising uses “Regresi Logistik Ganda” There is a significant influence of social support from friends or peers againts teenagers self confidence with grade p=0,11 and there is a significant influence of teenagers self-concept againts teenagers self confidence with grade of p=0,001 The activities of friends or peers need to be increased in a social welfare institution for children because they can improve the teenagers self confidence.
