The main purposes of establishing river banks is an effort to protect the river so that the river functions can take place on an ongoing basis, so that shrubs and grasses that grow in riparian function as highly effective filter captures sediment and pollutants so that the quality of river water from turbidity and pollution grouth. River water begin the clear and healthy. The main benefit is to protect the river banks of the river from pollution from agricultural and urban runoff from fertilizers. The banks of river was dominated by pants acts as a filter hold back sediment, nutrients and other contaminants from entering polluting of the the river. The demarcation or banks river’s line created to ensure the preservation and function of the river, as well as keep the public from hazards around the river, such as floods and landslides. Objective determination meant that function of the river’s banks is not disturbed by the activity that developed around its, so that the utilization of activities and efforts to increase the value of the benefits of existing resources in the river can provide optimal results at the same time preserving the function of the river . Besides the river banks is also being used in order to protect the riverbanks of the river of water resources and the environment can be limited, Determination river border line of banks is intended as an effort for the activities of protection, for use and control over the resources that exist in the river can be implemented in accordance with its purpose.
