Summary:Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disorder that indicated by increasing the blood glucose level. Treatmentfor patient with DMmust be givencontinuously to achieve a normal glucose level. Compliance will be very important because the patient need to control the blood glucose level to reduce the risk of complication. Compliance as a health behavior is influenced by predisposing factors, enabling factors and reinforcing factors. The aims of this study is to determine the influence of predisposing factors such as knowledge and attitude, enabling factors such as health facilities, and reinforcing factors such as behavioral of pharmacy personnels towards complianceof patient with DMwho taking oral antidiabetic drugs in Siwalankerto Primary Health Care Surabaya. The study was observational analysis with cross sectionaldesign. Sampling was conducted non random by accidental samplingfrom February-June 2016. Data was collected from validated questionnaire and analyzed using correlation analysis. The results of 47 respondents showed that predisposing factors are knowledge (r=0,070 ; p=0,642) and attitude (r=0,131 ; p=0,379) and enabling factors ishealth facilities (r=0,101 ; p=0,498) are not significantly influence the patient compliance. But reinforcingsuch as behavioral of pharmacy personnels(r=0,396 ; p= 0,006) is significantly influence the patient compliance. It is concluded that behavioral of pharmacy personnels is the strongest behavioral factor that influence compliance of patient with DM who taking oral antidiabetic drugs in Siwalankerto Primary Health Care Surabaya.
