Bacillus megaterium BM 9.1 can grow in tofu whey medium, which is the side product of tofu production. The tofu whey countain enough nitrogen, carbon and mineral to be a growth medium for bacteria. The aims of this research were to determine effectiveness of the tofu whey concetration (30%, 40%, 50% and 60%) against the fibrinolytic enzyme activity at optimal growth of Bacillus megaterium BM 9.1. The higher of the tofu whey concentration follow by the higher fibrinolytic activities. It was found that the fibrinolytic activity were 7,772 U/mL at the 60% of tofu whey concentration. According to the result of one-way analysis of variance it can be concluded that each concentrations of tofu whey cause significant differences in fibrinolytic activity of Bacillus megaterium BM 9.1.
