PERBANDINGAN DIAMETER PULPA PUTIH LIMPA KELINCI (Lepus negricolis) YANG DIIMUNISASI DENGAN Outer Membran Protein Brucella abortus STRAIN LOKAL DAN Whole Brucella abortus S19
This study aims to determine the increase of white pulp diameter of rabbit’s spleen (Lepus negricolis) immunized by local strain outer membrane protein Brucella abortus and whole Brucella abortus S19. Eighteen male rabbits were divided into 3 groups. Group 1 (p0) as control, group 2 (p1) as treatmen...

Summary: | This study aims to determine the increase of white pulp diameter of rabbit’s spleen (Lepus negricolis) immunized by local strain outer membrane protein Brucella abortus and whole Brucella abortus S19. Eighteen male rabbits were divided into 3 groups. Group 1 (p0) as control, group 2 (p1) as treatment 1, and group 3 (p2) as treatment 2. Treatment 1 group were immunized by whole Brucella abortus S19 while treatment 2 group were immunized by local strain outer membrane protein Brucella abortus. Five weeks after the last booster, rabbits were sacrificed and spleen organs were taken to make histolopathology slide with HE (Hematoxylin Eosin) staining. Data was obtained from measurements of white pulp’s wide diameter from each group. Data was statistically analyzed by ANOVA (F test) and continued with Duncan alpha test. ANOVA test showed that there were very significant differences between treatment groups (p <0.01). Alpha duncan test results showed significantly different from control treatment (p <0.01), but not significantly different from treatment 1 with treatment 2. |
