Summary:This research attempts to reveal the potential of plantain (Musa paradisiacal L) peel flour for poultry feed on the weight gain of heat stress-exposed broiler chicken. The research sample consists of 25 broiler chickens which are of 3 weeks old. They are grouped into 5 different kinds of feeding treatments : P1 (100 gram/day standard poultry feed + vitachick + heat stress), P2 (100 gram/day standard poultry feed + heat stress), P3 (100 gram/day standard poultry feed + 5% plantain peel flour + heat stress), P4 (100 gram/day standard poultry feed + 7% plantain peel flour + heat stress), P5 (100 gram/day standard poultry feed + 10% plantain peel flour + heat stress). The data acquired from this research are analyzed using ANOVA, and the final result shows that P5 produces greater effects than P2,P3, and P4.
