POTENSI PEMBERIAN DriedDistillers Grain with Soluble (DDGS) TERHADAP KONSUMSI DAN EFISIENSI PAKANAYAM BROILER

Corn is the main ingredients in the poultry feed, which is 50 – 60%. The inconsistence availability and price of corn push ahead the poultry industries to create an alternative feed ingredient, one of them using the side product of corn fermentation called DriedDistillers Grain with Soluble (DDGS)....

The inconsistence availability and price of corn push ahead the poultry industries to create an alternative feed ingredient, one of them using the side product of corn fermentation called DriedDistillers Grain with Soluble (DDGS). Because of the high nutrition of DDGS , it can replace the feed that given to the chicken. This research aims to know the potential of Dried Distiller Grain with Soluble (DDGS) to the consumption and efficiency of broiler chicken. This research using Complete Randomized Design (CRD) that consist of five treatment and four replication. The treatment did in 2 weeks to 20 DOC strain Cobb. The broiler chicken was given feed 2 times a day at 7 am and 4 pm. The feed was mash shaped and given ad libitum. The treatment consist of feed with different level of DDGS, P0 with 0% DDGS, and P1, P2, P3, and P4 contain 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% of DDGS. The result of this research showed that it did not significantly different (p>0.05) for the feed consumption and not significantly different (p>0.05) for the feed efficiency. It can be concluded that the DDGS addition until 20% has the same feed consumption and same feed efficiency with the commercial feed addition. 2016 Thesis NonPeerReviewed text en http://repository.unair.ac.id/60897/1/ABSTRACT%20KKC%20KK%20KH.%20165.17%20Hap%20p.pdf text id http://repository.unair.ac.id/60897/2/FULLTEXT%20KKC%20KK%20KH.%20165.17%20Hap%20p.pdf ALDILIA FARRA HAPSARI, 061211132040 (2016) POTENSI PEMBERIAN DriedDistillers Grain with Soluble (DDGS) TERHADAP KONSUMSI DAN EFISIENSI PAKANAYAM BROILER.
