Summary:Background is the low adherence of pregnant women in consuming iron tablets in BPM Titik Suharti Surabaya, that is 2 people who are fully knowledgeable (100%) adherence consume iron tablets, from 3 people who are knowledgeable enough most (66.7%) adherence consume iron tablets, and from 5 people who are less knowledgeable most (60%) non adherence consume iron tablets. This research aim to know the relationship between knowledge of pregnant women about anemia with adherence to consume iron tablets in BPM Titik Suharti Surabaya. Method is observational analytics, according to the time is a cross sectional study. The population is second trimester pregnant women in BPM Titik Suharti Surabaya in March-April 2017, i.e 55 people. The sampling technique is Consecutive sampling. The number of sampel are 35 respondents. Analysis of data is Chi-square. The Results showed that all of the less knowledgeable women on anemia (100.00%) non adherence to consume iron tablets, almost all moderate knowledgeable women (92.9%) were adherence, and all of the fully knowledgeable women (100.00%) were adherence. Fisher exact test with level of significance 0,05 got p value equal to 0.0001, mean there is relation between knowledge about anemia with adherence to consume iron tablets at BPM Titik Suharti Surabaya. Conclusion, there is a relationship between knowledge of pregnant women about anemia with adherence to iron tablets.
